Attend an evening with Andre Agassi

I am taking a group of 17 to Edinburgh on March 9 for the Ireland/Scotland rugby match. Flights costing over £1,000 have been booked via Easyjet for the Belfast/Edinburgh return. Also we had to pay Mr Brown a further £170 last month just to add to the cost. One of the group has had to cancel so to replace this person and to change a name, Easyjet are charging £321.50. I could not change it online due to system problems so I had to call at 65p per minute to arrange for the change. The original flight cost about £85.
I have no problem in paying an admin charge but for Easyjet to change a name on a computer, charge £321.50, cannot be justified in any way. To the MD of Easyjet, put yourself in my position as a PAYING customer and let me know if you would be as disgusted as I am. Neil Hunter, by email
A response from easyJet: Please see below the relevant part of easyJet's terms and conditions relating to name changes, which all passengers agree to at the time of booking:
Names of passengers may be changed on payment of a "name change" fee (see tables at www.easyjet.com) per passenger, per journey up to one hour before the scheduled time of departure of that flight. In addition, if there is a difference between the original fare paid and the current fare available at the time the change is made, the customer will be required to pay any increase in fare since the original booking.
As an online company easyJet incentivises customers to use its website by making it the cheaper alternative.
