Win VIP tickets

When I booked flights from Bristol to Nice online with easyJet, I experienced a price hike of more than £100 during the transaction. The price was £690.15. I punched in my details and pressed “confirm”. The system refused my card. I tried a second one; again, it was refused. I was directed to reconfirm my flight details – by which time the price had increased to £792.95. I feel cheated. I was unaware that EasyJet operates an auction system. Kate Irvine, London
EasyJet replies: “It is rare, but a price can change during the reservation process if another customer is booking the same flights at exactly the same time. It is not an auction, it’s just an unfortunate coincidence that the seats have sold. If this does occur, a pop-up window will appear, explaining that there is no longer a seat available at the selected fare, and that the flight has moved on to the next price bracket.”

i recentlybooked 7 seats return from liverpool to faro on easyjet,i followed the correct procedure and was going to pay by debit card, they offered me the seats for £795,i pressed the confirm key ,then it flashed up my bank would not authorise payment, but try again later. i knew i had sufficent funds in my bank to cover this transaction,so i tried again immediatley went through the same procedure but this tme the price of the seats had risen to £899a rise of £15 per seat . I pressed the confirm key and they sold me the tickets at the higher price
the next day i phoned my bank and asked why they did not authorise the payments for the tickets at the lower price . They informed me that payments where authorised for the both transactions and the monies for two sets of tickets where in payments pending waiting for Easyjet to take the money. they only drew out the larger amount.
Easyjet must be programing there computors to tell lies

I booked a car online with Airline Network for 5 days collecting at Newark in New York with my son (24) as the driver. I filled in the form correctly and £115 was debited from my card. When I picked up the car, I was charged a further £88 as a supplement as he was under 25. When I tried to claim this back, Airline Network referred me to their terms and conditions and tucked away on page 5 was a reference to drivers under 25. They should not have confirmed a price of £115 knowing that I would be charged extra when I picked up the car. Grrrrr.
